It’s held on the second Sunday of August and has been running for over 50 years. A brand-new festival is coming to Bristol’s Arnolfini arts centre this month, FODA, standing for ‘festival of food ideas’. Helmed by local chef Josh Eggerton, owner of The Pony Group, alongside Shona Graham of Team Canteen, the festival began as an industry event, but this year it’s opening to the public for the first time. Inspired by Galway’s Food on the Edge, the event explores some of the biggest issues in the food world, from regenerative farming to health and education, through panel talks, workshops and exhibitions. Guests can also explore local ingredients at the Producer Village, which will be dotted along the harbourside.
